Our Mission:
To make a positive difference in the lives of those with developmental disabilities, primarily through education, training, and support services. DPCS wants to assist them in achieving their highest potential, as they develop to become confident, and independent individuals.
Douglas Private Care Services Day Program called Changing Lives Day Center located in Duluth, GA has been open and serving developmentally disabled participants in Region 3 since July 5, 2008.
Douglas Private Care Services has instituted a comprehensive electronic documentation system called Therap. This move places Douglas Services at the forefront of Georgia DBHDD providers in making the transition to a more secure method of documenting all participant activities and related services via a HIPAA compliant system.
